Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.
Covid 19 Changed Everything, Including the Wigwam.
Wigwam Nature Retreat atop the Mohawk Trail’s Hairpin Turn
NEW Check-in/out procedures
In accordance with the orders of Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker, guests must fill out a questionnaire so all reservations go through an interview process. This will help us get to know our guests and what needs there is. Check-ins/outs will be completely contactless.
A different kind of vacation
We hope guests appreciate our services even if it doesn’t involve the personal interaction aspect. We also hope that folks will have a renewed appreciation for nature and the great outdoors.
We have cleared over two acres of our land to create a nature sanctuary for our cabin guests. The-acre-to-cabin ratio is approximately 1:1 so guests have room to socially distance while enjoying what our property has to offer. We groomed our private trail for quick access to the old Wigwam creek and the connection to the Hoosac Range Trail so as to avoid the public trailhead.
During quarantine we cleared 100 years of debris, garbage, fallen trees, and branches that covered pristine mountaintop land adjacent to the cabins.
We want to offer cabin guests a different way of living where you can reconnect with yourself and your loved ones.
A slice of the Berkshires with a cabin for “free.” Each guest gets a campsite, an outdoor living room, a fire pit, an outdoor dining area with a private picnic table, and a park-style charcoal grill.
Concierge service is available via phone and website to make sure your stay is safe, relaxing, and worry-free.
